Our Agreement with you
Our website technology has been designed to allow private individuals or
businesses seeking confidential shredding services to find a suitably competent
shredder in their post code area who is willing to provide the shredding service
at a fixed kilo rate.
Our Services
We have agreements with leading Shredding Companies throughout the UK to carry
out high quality on-site or off-site shredding for you.
We have already satisfied ourselves as to the quality of the service that each
of our Shredding Companies provide and have negotiated competitive prices based
on the high volumes of work we pass to them.

Your Responsibility
In order to get an estimate through our web site, you will need to give as
accurately as possible the weight of the paper that you require to be shredded.
We are not responsible for under estimates of the weight of the paper involved.
You are liable to pay for the full cost of shredding the actual weight of paper
shredded. However the kilo rate given to you will not alter because of an
incorrect estimated weight being given.
You are also required to answer other questions on our site which covers the
information needed by the shredding crew to ensure that they provide you with
the best possible shredding service.
Our Liability to You
If the information has been incorrectly entered on to our web site it is your
responsibility to identify the mistake and, as such, we exclude, all our
liability which by law we can exclude, in respect of all losses you may incur.
We accept no responsibility, or any liability whatsoever, for any loss that you
incur as a result of the Shredding Company failing to carry out the shredding
correctly. However the Shredding Company has been appointed by us because they
are known to provide a high quality service.
We will use our best endeavours to resolve any disputes as quickly as possible.
Invoicing and Payment
To enable us to offer the most competitive prices possible we have automated our
invoicing and payments system.
The invoice will be sent to the email address given by you when you placed the
order.
Payment is by Direct Debit (DD) which will be taken from your bank account 14 days from the date you receive the invoice.
If payment is not received on first presentation of the D D then an
administration charge of £10.00 + vat will be added to the account.
Interest at 3% per month will be charged to the account for late payment from
the date the DD was first returned unpaid.
All Direct Debits are subject to the Direct Debit Guarantee.
If our Standards Fall Short
Our aim is at all times to provide a first class standard of service. However,
there may be occasions when you feel we may have not achieved this. If we fall
short of our own high standards then we want you to tell us! At Shred on Line
Limited we take all complaints seriously and in such an event please follow this
link read our Complaint Procedure.
If your complaint is regarding a provider that has provided the shredding
service we will pass the complaint on for you. We cannot accept liability for
errors made by the underlying provider or answer complaints on their behalf. We
will use our best endeavours to resolve any disputes as quickly as possible.
